If (Middle Sis) Were in Charge of the World

A poem written by our now-fourth-grader last year (pulled out of the backpack today??)

If I were in charge of the world I'd cancel
Robbery, killing, war, and smoking drugs.
If I were in charge of the world there'd be
Book Clubs in every school, you would only
have medicine drugs, and at all schools you'd
have hour long recess and lunches.
If I were in charge of the world you wouldn't
have pain. You wouldn't have meanness.
You wouldn't have cancer or hunger. You
wouldn't even have homeless people.
If I were in charge of the world
A house could transform into a giant hot tub. All
people would be nice. And a person who sometimes forgot
to sleep and sometimes forgot to brush their hair would still
be allowed to be in charge of the world!
